Effective July 2026. Reverie is built on a simple idea: your dreams are yours.
Audio never leaves your phone
Voice recordings are transcribed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is never uploaded, never stored, and never accessible to us — only the text transcript exists after transcription.
What we store
Dream text, the tags on it, and your subscription status, linked to an anonymous account created via Sign in with Apple. We store this on servers in a single region (Toronto, Canada) so search and pattern features work across your history. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no trackers, no third-party analytics SDKs.
- We never sell or share your data.
- We never analyze dream content beyond the features you see (search and pattern counts). Reverie describes patterns; it never interprets your dreams.
Deletion
Settings → Delete account erases your account and every dream from your phone and our servers within 24 hours (in practice, immediately).
